near Kuta Beach, full of people and restaurants (but expensive). So called upgrade to superior room ?
power failure when in room at night but restored as soon as possible. Shuttle service at a surcharge as stated in website gives a wrong impression - in fact just a taxi to airport. You could just do it yourself - plenty of taxi around. (but make sure it is BALI taxi). Just pay according to meter - even cheaper than the fixed charge stated by hotels in general.

Good price, close to shops, Kuta Square.
Hotel staff seemed to speak only Indonesian. The room was quite clean when we checked in, but afterwards was not cleaned all four days we stayed there.

Very clean, very central, air conditioned,
Room was a bit small, some noise from the street at night, a little smelly, price not as on web site, had to pay in local money and got a bad conversion rate

Basic hotel with all you need at a vert low price. A/c worked great and the tv actually had a good selection.
Little difficult to find. When asking someone, reference Tune Hotel which is just around the corner and down a narrow street.

The location was generally good for the Kuta area as it is near one end of Jalan Legian. Very easy to get to the beach or to Poppies 1. The staff were friendly and helpful. For the the price, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and the wifi and cable tv was great
Our key didn't work and they couldn't fix it for about 4 days. Additionally, during an exceptionally hard downpour, water started coming in our window. We reported this to the staff and they immediately came to look at it, but there was not much they could do until the next day. Also, just a note that this is not the place to go if you want luxury and beach front.

Rooms were extremely clean and new. Definitely value for money.
We were lucky enough to have the room right at the back of the hotel on the top floor, otherwise the noise level would have been a big problem. Wifi does not reach all the rooms so you have to sit on the stairs to get connected. Staff cannot speak a word of english and are therefore very unassisting, not what we expected in Kuta.

It's a bit far from the main street legian.
